$100 Giveaway. Spa Girls on the Road 2014

Spa Girls on the Road 2014.  Where should we go next?  We’re having another $100 giveaway because we need ideas.

When I started nursing school I said to the girls (employees) at I.M. Spa, “We should go on a trip to celebrate the business (and me) surviving the semester.  Where do you want to go?  And that’s how we ended up going to Dallas to visit Cosmic Cafe, Shuang Feng Foot Massage, King Spa, and Be Raw Food and Juice together.

Well, another semester is upon us.  It’s intimidating.  It’s challenging.  It’s a lot of work.  But we’re determined to make it through.  And when we do, we want to travel somewhere awesome and be clients at somebody else’s amazing spa location, eat amazing healthy food, meet amazing spa people, and see things we don’t always get to see.

Where should we go?  Post a comment below about places we could go and you will be entered to win $100 worth of spa services or products from I.M. Spa.

Places we’re considering going?  Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, New Mexico, and Colorado.

What kind of places do we want to visit?  Spas, hot springs, local independent stores, vegan or raw food restaurants, yoga studios, and other cool local attractions.

The last $100 giveaway we did only had 6 people participating.  Which is crazy, considering that there are thousands of people who come to I.M. Spa for services.  But that means the odds of winning are in your favor.

So post a comment below, and we’ll put your name in the drawing for the $100 giveaway.

    1. Are you coming Genet? Colorado would be awesome. I have never done anything but change planes in Colorado. And there are so many hot springs there. Would be great to go when there was snow on the ground.

  1. Let’s go to Barton Creek Resort and Spa in the Texas hill country near Austin. I had the pleasure of staying here a few times many years ago. Its time for a do over!

    1. That place is beautiful. The scenery is amazing. And I bet there are tons of raw food and vegan restaurants in Austin. I can’t see myself going back to Texas for a while (I go there all the time cuz I got family there), but you never know. And I love a caravan! Come along!

    1. There are several votes from the spa girls for New Mexico. It’s where Jessica Crass went to massage school. Her old stomping grounds. That restaurant looks like a must do. Thanks for the post.

  2. I say Tulsa. I have been going there for over a year now and it is really a cool city. Go to Cains for fun and cowboy dancing, eat at Zoes – its incredible and we need a restaurant like that here, and walk around the downtown area near ONEOK and common green. This is a cheap and fun trip, if money is a consideration. Have fun.

  3. There are a couple of places I enjoy going with my family, as well as our weekend girl’s getaway: Eureka Springs to either the Crescent Hotel or the Basin Park Hotel and Big Cedar in Ridgedale, MO. One of my girlfriends and I had a wonderful mani/pedi at Crescent, as well as took the ghost tour. There is a lot of history in Eureka Springs and some amazing little shops, including Fusion Squared, Silly Chili, and the Coffee Shop. Emilio’s is a great little Italian restaurant 🙂

Each year my girlfriends and I have a girl’s weekend (no husbands, no kids) at Big Cedar. We relax in the hot tub, hang out by the pool, visit the spa and Truman’s Cafe. Of course, it’s also close to the Branson Landing and other Branson attractions.

    1. Thanks Amy. I love Eureka too. We’re so fortunate to live in this area with such great creative communities. I haven’t tried Emilio’s. I have much yet to do.

  4. Wendy , my favorite retreat or spa is Breitenbush Hot springs in Oregon, I’ve spent quite a few vacations there, hot springs, organic food , beautiful vistas & hikes wonderful staff and guests that make for a relaxing soul and body nourishing retreat, (you can stay there for less that it cost to stay at a hotel and you have so many natural treats (no wifi or cell phone service in this remote setting)

    1. I love Breitenbush! I think the first time I heard about Breitenbush was from you too Dan. I went there for Reiki training. It’s a little far for an employee road trip at this point, but maybe in the future. We’ll have to save our pennies. Thanks for the post!
